Mixing the New Music transcendence of the likes of Arvo Part and Gorecki with the sublime and rarified atmospheric territory of Talk Talk, AR Kane and Cocteau Twins, 'Speak' contains tracks dating from the very earliest years of the band (1988-89). An album of densely organic soundscapes, quiet ambition and heartfelt emotionalism, 'Speak' is that rare thing - a work of genuine beauty and substance. Steven and Tim regard it as being amongst their finest work.

This is the 2005 reissue of 'Speak' - a re-release of the 2004 issue on Headphone Dust which featured remastered and resung versions of the original 'Speak' recordings (and brand-new 1999 recordings of Night Sky Sweet Earth and Curtain Dream) plus the bonus track The Hidden Art Of Man Ray.
