Tim is an occasional member of Centrozoon, an experimental music project based in Germany and Austria who blend ambient textures, loop music, art-rock and propulsive dance beats with elements of German darkwave and even disco. The core members of Centrozoon are Markus Reuter (Warr Touch Guitar, loops) and Bernhard Wöstheinrich (synthesizers and percussion), and collaborators have included King Crimson drummer Pat Mastellotto and electronic musicians Ian Boddy and Lee Fletcher.
Tim contributes vocals, lyrics and voiceloops to the trio version of Centrozoon, which is more song-based and produces a genre-defying fusion of art-pop, progressive, electronica and ballad influences. Centrozoon songs are comparable to No-Man’s work on the 'Wild Opera' album and the music of the ProjeKCt fractals of mid-'90s King Crimson. |
