Chris was recruited for the No-Man live band in 1993, and played on several tracks on the 'Flowermouth' album.
Chris went on to join Steven in Porcupine Tree. He played drums for the band for nine years between 1993 and 2002, contributing to six Porcupine Tree albums.
Following his departure from Porcupine Tree, Chris drummed for another of Steven's projects, Blackfield, as well as for Martine McCutcheon, ABC and Vinnie Jones. He was also a member of the progressive rock band Kino (alongside John Mitchell from Arena/The Urbane, John Beck from It Bites and Pete Trewavas from Marillion).
Chris now divides his time between teaching drums and his other career as an in-demand theatre drummer in London and around the UK. He has played in the pit bands for three very recent popular West End shows ('Grease', 'We Will Rock You' and 'Mama Mia') as well as the international tour of 'Mama Mia'.
